Today Kaitlyn and I drove the three plus hours to Houston for a follow up appointment. It's been three months since she last saw Dr Brock. At that time he said she could go from wearing her brace 24/7 to only at night. Well today we got the the reprieve we were hoping for. Kaitlyn no longer has to wear the Rhino Cruiser Brace or any other brace at night. Woohoo!!!! I wanted to buy her a flannel gown tonight, but couldn't find one. =( Why a gown? Because she hasn't been able to wear one since this all started on January 19, 2009. She actually hasn't worn one since she was a baby. I may have to make her a gown.
I do have this pattern for the Portrait Peasant Tops and Dresses that could make a great gown for her. I may have to go check out Hancocks for some new fabric. Last year I used this pattern to make Kaitlyn a pj top.

YEAH!!!! thats great news!! do you have to go back and see him fairly often now or just like once a year??? I bet you are so excited!
She goes back in four months. It was quite shocking when they told me her appointment was in April. That seems so far away.
