Canton Village Quilt Works Giveaway

Jackie from Canton Village Quilt Works is having a great giveaway on her site. Look at the fabric above... wouldn't that make a fabulous quilt for Kaitlyn?! In the next year she will be moved out of her toddler bed and into a full size. My plan has been to paint her room a darker yellow, like in the flower above, and hang butterflies from the sealing. For those who were at her half birthday party the butterflies are the same we used as decor then. However, this week I've been toying with painting grass and flowers on her walls; cartoon-ish flowers of course. If I paint flowers on the wall then I would paint the top half of her room blue for the sky. Well, the idea of being creative with the paint on the walls brings me back to the thoughts of her quilt top. I'm kicking around doing flowers, butterflies and maybe a girl on her quilt or simply finding great fabric and making some kind of patchwork quilt without appliqueing on it.

Back to the giveaway. Jackie is offering so much more then the jelly roll and layer cake pictured above; I just love their colors. She's also giving away a Mode sampler box, the quilting book Black and White and Pieced All Over, a charm pack of Kona solids, also a charm and flat quarter pack of the Leading Ladies line by Northcott's. Click on any of the links above to get to her site. The image will link you to the giveaway.
