Sadie Update
Sadie made it through her surgery with flying colors. Before the surgery they did an x-ray on her and found she had a kidney stone over an inch big. Thank goodness we now know what was causing all her problems and it is taken care of. While they had her out to be spayed they took out the kidney stone, cut her nails, and cleaned her teeth. We didn't request the last two; they threw them in for free. I'm hoping the drugs they gave her are good enough to get her through the night because I'm not supposed to start her oral pain meds until tomorrow. She doesn't feel well enough to get around much. She has gone out to go potty a couple times. The last time we took her out she got cold so we put hot/warm wheat packs in her bed.

Hope you feel fast Sadie!
What? You hope she feels fast? I don't think Sadie will feel too "fast" for awhile Jackie.
I meant to say that I hope Sadie feels BETTER fast. Can't a dog make a little comment error once and awhile?
I hope Sadie feels better fast too...and then after that she feels like running and playing with her girl!
Well, all I have to say is that I wish the last time I had my nails trimmed they had put me under general anesthesia.
Maxie, the last time you had your nails trimmed, we all wished we were under general anesthesia so we didn't have to hear you make such a fuss.

Sadie, tell your mom that she should boil up some chicken livers with garlic for you and then sprinkle a little cheese on top. After what you have been through, you will need something special to help you get your strength back.
Sadie, if your mom cooks up chicken livers with cheese for you, I want to know about it so I can come live with you!

Sadie, it sounds like your mom is taking good care of you, with or without the chicken livers. Having a good family is way better than chicken livers.

You are all to funny. Sadie is back to her old self today. I'm having to hold her down almost to keep her from jumping around and playing.
