Cuddles and a Blanket

Since Kaitlyn's last surgery when she doesn't feel well she wants a blanket and to be held. For example just moments ago she decided to help herself to a banana. When trying to pull it off the counter she pulled the whole stand off full of bananas. I'm not sure which part hit her, but when I got into the kitchen she was holding the bananas and her eye. She said, "hold djew (hold you). I need a blanket." I took the bananas from her then carried her into the living room in search of a blanket. After a short time of cuddles and a kiss on the eye she was feeling better. Somehow a blanket always makes it better.

Last week we got a package in the mail from a friend in California. Her daughter made Kaitlyn a present and it's timing couldn't have been better. It's a purple blanket with ballerinas. The ballerinas have fairy wings and a wand so I told Kaitlyn they are fairies seeing how she's really into Tinkerbell right now.

Thank you for the blanket M.
